Objectives:
- Approach group of pressing and “commonly encountered” ethical issues in medical genetics.
- Address these ethical issues from different perspectives with a focus on Islamic point of view.
- Raise the awareness of healthcare professionals, researchers, religious scholars and policy makers about the ethics of medical genetics practice.
- Propose systematic “problem solving” approach for ethical dilemmas in medical genetics practice in accordance with the national regulations and Islamic values.
